Cuban rhythm, warmth and friendliness are contagious. At the four-star BelleVue Palma Real hotel, a cosmopolitan atmosphere reigns. Guests come from all corners of the world: Canadians, Germans, English… A mixed clientele. Most of our guests are couples, looking for sunshine and relaxation. The same bright sun that enhances the white and cream facades of the facilities. The brilliant sunlight is an ever-present feature on the island.
The fun never stops whatever the time of year, with three restaurants, two snack bars and five bars to choose from. Pasta and pizza, international and Oriental cuisine, cocktails… Picture yourself with a daiquiri, stretched out on a sun lounger with the gentle Caribbean breeze in your hair. At BelleVue Palma Real there is an outdoor marquee for evening entertainment, with dancing, shows and authentic Cuban musical groups. There is more to come: Three pools for adults and one for children as well as a marina down by the shore. And that is not all: Varadero Beach, with its white sugar sand and transparent waters, is one of the best known in all Cuba and in fact, in all the Caribbean. It has a beach bar where you can have a combo meal or paella. It also boasts wonderful natural, protected areas like Punta Hicacos.
The surrounding area is also well worth visiting. We recommend the Varadero golf course and the catamaran boat trips out to several parts of the island, such as Trinidad and Cienfuegos. Very close to the BelleVue Palma Real facilities there are art and craft centers where you can buy typical necklaces, figurines, bracelets and handmade wooden pictures. After visiting the craft centers, nothing better than a stroll around the park next to the hotel, complete with restaurants and artificial lakes. Nothing like a long walk to work up an appetite.
What are the typical local dishes? White rice with frijoles (beans), roast pork, yucca, fried banana and roast or fried chicken”. And later, under the moonlight, the fun continues. Right next to the BelleVue Palma Real hotel is the famous Havana Club disco and guests can get in free of charge. There you will really find out how contagious Son Cubano is.
