MUSIC
The Concert Cycle Moments of Music (Momentos de música) that began on January 28 at the San Martin Center for Contemporary Culture will come to an end on March 31, at 20:30 hrs, with a performance from a viola duo, Carlos Campos and Aurora Cano, interpreting Suites No. 5 and No. 6 by Bach. Estrella Morente will perform on March 10 at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in Las Palmas which will also host, 
on March 20, the worldwide famous Glenn Miller Orchestra with their interpretations of swing and jazz hits, and on March 30, the renowned composer and artist, Albert Hammond, presenting his latest album, “Legend.” More info at www.auditorio-alfredokraus.com.
The tour “Rosendo en el Teatro” (Rosendo in the Theater) comes to Víctor Jara Theater in Santa Lucía on March 31.
We can announce that the great Bruce Springsteen will perform a live concert on May 15, at the Las Palmas Stadium.
EXHIBITIONS

THEATER
On March 9, the company Noviembre Teatro will interpret William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at the Cuyás Theater. The same stage will host on March 17 the play Clown Quijote de La Mancha, by the award-winning company Uroc Teatro, and on March 23, the acclaimed play La omisión de la familia Coleman (The Omission of Coleman’s Family), directed by Claudio Tolcachir, will be represented. The famous company Yllana will perform ¡Muu! 2 at the Centro Cívico Carrizal in the town of Ingenio. And on March 25, at the same place, Yllana will interpret Action Man. On the day before, the Paramount Comedy Comedians Gala will be held.
La Hora de los Cuentos (The Hour of Tales) is a play performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria, for the whole family, on March 3 in Las Palmas.
SPORTS
The North Face Transgrancanaria, 123 km race to be completed within a 31 hour time limit, March 2nd to 4th.
Cycling Challenge Canrias, March 23rd at Maspalomas and 8th Open MTB on March 24th at San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
Beach Volley Around the World on March 19th to 25th at Las Palmas.
OTHER
Until the middle of March, Carnival is still celebrated in some municipalities, among them Agaete, Agüimes and St. Lucia.
